Dr. Oliveira takes dental impressions of her patient’s smiles to create their custom mouthguards. She sends these impressions to a dental lab which will create the mouthguard out of hard acrylic.

When the mouthguard is complete, Dr. Oliveira will adjust it as needed so it feels comfortable in the mouth. To clean your mouthguard, you can use a denture or mouthguard cleaner. This cleaner is a dissolvable powder that allows you to soak your mouthguard. When you are not wearing your mouthguard, place it in its case.
